Keynote Speaker: Dr Nigel Mongan

Dr Nigel Mongan,诺丁汉大学肿瘤学领域杰出教授,于剑桥大学获得了分子信号学博士学位后,他在剑桥大学的阿登布鲁克医院儿科系与儿科内分泌学家休斯教授共同完成了分子内分泌学的博士后研究,之后在纽约威尔康奈尔医学院与古达斯教授携手深入探索分子药理学。2009年,他加入了诺丁汉大学医学与健康科学学院兽医医学与科学学院,并于2015年荣获皇家病理学院的研究员称号。


Dr Mongan的研究专长涉及内分泌信号通路以及这些通路如何影响前列腺癌、乳腺癌和卵巢癌的发展,其研究成果为这些疾病的治疗提供了宝贵的科学依据。


Dr Mongan, Professor of Oncology of the University of Nottingham, was awarded his doctorate in molecular signaling from Queens' College, the University of Cambridge. He completed postdoctoral training in molecular endocrinology with Professor Ieuan Hughes at the Department of Paediatrics at Addenbrookes Hospital, University of Cambridge and with Professor Lorraine Gudas in molecular pharmacology at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York. In 2009 he joined the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science of the University of Nottingham and became a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2015.


Dr Mongan's research expertise relate to endocrine signaling pathways and how these contribute to prostate, breast and ovarian cancers.
